James August Smith is a working stuntman who has brought new life to vehicular stunts that were, for the most part, abandoned by television and film in the 1980s. In order to recreate these stunts - Jamey has personally went to the horse’s mouth and learned from the exact people who perfected these stunts originally. In many cases he has even obtained the original gear and ramps used to make the stunts work!
Television of the 1970's and 1980's were reaching new levels of high action car stunts. As a young boy, Jamey’s attention was held captive by the exciting action in shows such as "The Dukes of Hazzard," "Knight Rider," "Fall Guy," "The A Team" and many others.
Some years later, Jamey was truly blessed to became friends with several of the stuntmen and coordinators from his favorite shows. Today, they are considered the best of the best in the industry.
Corey Eubanks, Tom Sarmento, Buzz Bundy, Al Wyatt Jr, Gary Baxley, Russell Solburg and Rich Sephton.
Until recently this RAM has been TOP SECRET in the industry. James Smith was proud to work on this promotional video as both a Stunt Coordinator and Stunt Driver.
Yup, that is James's hand on the wheel!
